Terms of Use: IGNOU Buddy

Welcome to IGNOU Buddy. These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) govern your use of our platform and services. By accessing or using the website [www.ignoubuddy.in]or communicating with our support channels, you agree to abide by these terms and all applicable laws.

1. Definitions
– “Platform” refers to IGNOU Buddy, owned and operated by DGKAP Edutech Private Limited.
– “User/You” refers to any student or individual accessing or using our services.
– “Project Research Associate/Project Expert” refers to the independent academic expert assigned to your project.
– “Services” refer to customized academic support for synopsis and project reports for IGNOU university students.

2. Scope of Service
IGNOU Buddy serves as an intermediary connecting students with vetted project research associates. We offer customized assistance for synopsis and project report development. We are not affiliated with IGNOU University or any academic institution.

3. Fees and Payment Policy
– All services are strictly prepaid.
50% payment is required before the synopsis work begins.
– The remaining 50% is payable only after synopsis approval and before the commencement of project report work.
– IGNOU Buddy acts as the Service intermediary handling advance payment, releasing payments to project experts in line with predefined milestones.
– No service will commence without advance payment. No pay-after-delivery requests will be entertained.
Note: “IGNOU Buddy does not act as a bank, wallet, or financial institution. All payments are collected and disbursed solely for the purpose of fulfilling academic support services, in line with our defined service structure and milestones.”

4. Refund and Guarantee Policy
Eligibility for Refund:
100% Refund if the synopsis or project is officially rejected by the university.
100% Refund if the order is canceled within 24 hours.
50% Refund if cancellation occurs after the first draft of the synopsis/project.

Conditions to Claim Refund:
– Submission of official rejection proof including grade card, enrollment ID, and project copy.
– Proof that the submitted content was 90% as provided by IGNOU Buddy.
– Order must have been placed at least 15 days (or 7 days for express service) before the submission deadline.
– Refund claims must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the official result.
– Refunds will be processed within 15–20 working days of valid claim approval.

Exclusions:
– No refund for delays in delivery or academic evaluation.
– No refund for failure due to additional or altered content.
– Refund guarantee is non-transferable and only applicable to the original purchaser.

5. Revision Policy
We allow up to 10 revisions based on official guide feedback. Beyond 10, additional charges may apply. Revisions are only accepted with written proof of guide recommendations.

6. User Conduct and Academic Integrity
– Users must provide complete and accurate information.
– Users must not engage in academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or submit forged documents.
– Users are solely responsible for following project manual guidelines and ensuring neat handwritten submissions where applicable.
– IGNOU Buddy reserves the right to deny refunds if the project was rejected due to user error or academic misconduct.

7. Limitation of Liability
IGNOU Buddy is not responsible for:
– Quality, accuracy, or outcomes of final university evaluations.
– Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
– Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the student.

8. Privacy and Data Use
All user information is kept confidential and used solely for the delivery and verification of services. Personal information will not be shared with project experts.

9. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Disputes unresolved by the escalation process will be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to deliver services due to causes beyond our control, including natural disasters, technical failures, government orders, or pandemics.

11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user account without notice for policy violations, fraudulent behavior, or misuse of services.

13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Union Territory of Delhi, India. Jurisdiction lies exclusively in Delhi courts.

14. Updates to Terms
IGNOU Buddy reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of revised terms.
